Aww ;_; when I first saw the post I thought there’d be a Viewfinder ova instead of the animix. BUT, Viewfinder is Viewfinder so I’m looking forward to seeing it some time. And fingers crossed for actually anime episodes in the future >_<
This is a dream coming true! Viewfinder fans deserve it for so long. Hope someday they can do a real anime (OVAs with no censors).
An original video animation of Finder no Hyouteki was created by ANiMix Project in 2012. It was released as one 38 minute episode. Animation is limited to only movement of the mouth and eyes of the characters, as well as a few body movements. The OVA stars Japanese voice actors Tetsuya Kakihara, Takaya Kuroda, and Nobuo Tobita.
Well, this is a slight departure from my usual anime rants, because this time I’ve decided that I really want to talk about this manga that I’m currently reading, more commonly known as “You’re My Loveprize in Viewfinder”! Now those of you that have gotten to know a bit about me, know that I’m into yaoi and would even go so far as to say that I’m a fujoshi, and there ain’t nothing wrong with that! In fact, I think it’s a bit of a shame that there isn’t more yaoi anime out there apart from the few popular series and the many OVAs that get bundled with the mangas from time to time… If there is such a genre as “yaoi”, then it means that people are into it and that they want to watch it.. However, since this isn’t always possible, the next best thing would be to either listen to drama cds or to read manga. So this is what I’ve done and this is what I’ve found…
If you really enjoy this manga, as I do, you can also watch an OVA adaptation of the first couple of adventures – although it is slightly tricky to find the complete OVA, it isn’t impossible. If I can do it, then you can too.. 🙂 The OVA isn’t strictly animated but the style aside, I quite liked it and they didn’t skimp on the voice actors either – Hirakawa Daisuke and Tachibana Shinnousuke as the Takaba’s friends and Kakihara Tetsuya as Takaba .. Score! It was well worth reading the manga and then watching the OVA, so if you’re looking for something with plenty of volumes that’s super entertaining, then take a look through your viewfinder and give this manga a shot!
