The two initially meet when Takemichi time leaps for the second time into the past, and is confronted by a delinquent. He gets attacked until Draken stops the fight and Mikey is seen behind him. When the people surrounding Takemichi notice Mikey, they all bow down and the latter gets shocked when seeing that he is the top guy in Tokyo Manji. Sano walks to him and leans until he falls, asking for his name. Takemichi replies, and Mikey calls him ‘Takemitchy’ instead. He then crouches to talk to him and asks him if he’s in middle school but skips the question and tells him that the two are now pals.
Everyone had expected that the final battle between the Tokyo Manji Gang and the Kantou Manji Gang will be in full swing in this chapter, but no one had anticipated that Wakui will focus on Takemichi this way.
Sanju Haruchiyo insulted the members of Tokyo Manji on Mikey’s instruction, and Takemichi replied that they will defeat Kantou and succeed the “Toman” name.
