Everyone knows the Horde loves their raids, but they aren’t the only ones. While less glorified in the Alliance, humans in particular love returning the favor. Their approach differs greatly from the Horde’s usual tactics, however.

Rather than simply rushing a village and overwhelming their defenses with brute force, Alliance raiding parties will typically stalk a Horde settlement and wait for the ideal time to strike. Their trap usually begins by ambushing a Horde patrol, leaving only one survivor to return and alert the others of their location. This sends the Horde into a frenzy, with their defenders immediately setting out for revenge. Meanwhile, the Alliance party had already pivoted to the other side of the settlement and makes their strike on the now undefended location…
